To work for ULTA, you must be at least 18 years of age. To work in the salon, you must also be a licensed cosmetologist.
To apply for any position at ULTA, please select your position of interest, and complete the online application. You will be asked to answer a few questions to help us assess your skills and qualifications. You will also be given the option to upload your resume. Please note that ULTA does not accept paper resumes or applications.

You can apply to only one non-management Retail, Salon or Distribution Center position within a 60 day period of time. However, your application will be active for 60 days, and will be considered for openings at the location you applied to, as well as similar openings at locations within a 30 mile radius.
For all other positions, you may apply to as many that are of interest to you. You will have to apply to each posting individually. However, you can log back in using an ID and Password, and retrieve your profile rather than having to re-enter your information for each application.

If you are seeking a Home Office position or a management position in Retail, Salon or Distribution, you will have the option to create a General Application, and request a Job Alert be sent to your email when positions of interest become available at ULTA.

ULTA provides all the training necessary for a designer to be successful:
- Technical training, from basic to advanced, is offered to all designers utilizing the Pivot Point System.
- Business Building Skills and advanced hair classes are provided by our in-house team of training experts.
- Quarterly education is provided by ULTA's best-of-the-best professional hair care vendors
